A Continually Changing Landscape The world of evolving human consciousness has always been on the move, but never more so than right now. To believe that all truth, all valuable ideas, all wisdom regarding spiritual things has already arrived is to deny our own existence at this time in history. We ARE the product of an evolving consciousness! Just think back a few years and compare life then and now. As a child what was your world like? How did we communicate? What did we eat? What were the topics of greatest interest? How much of your life has changed over the past twenty, thirty, or 40 years? It is mostly our spiritual culture that has resisted growth, change, and evolution most strenuously—and has done so for several thousand years. Sure, our religious buildings may have changed (somewhat), and our procedures, liturgy, and theories have changed—but our basic belief systems have stayed pretty much the same. Well, that's why I'm here, to provide increasing evidence that while most of the world has been asleep spiritually, there is a strong wind of Spirit blowing through the landscape with more and more signs of a species awakening to its own spiritual evolution, This climate of change is suddenly showing up in many varied and amazing ways. It is my intention to expose you to many evidences of this spiritual wind around us today. It is your job to evaluate which, if any, of them can serve to enhance your life, living, and loving. |
